Tracing missing persons and debtors

Insurance Fraud - Enquiries to check the bona fides of suspect fraudulent claimants. Surveillance is used to provide full details of the subjects private activities while he is on sick leave corroborated with photo and/or video evidence. In collaboration with management measures are implemented to determine the culprits, their methods, associates and range of identified and unidentified fraudulent activities.

Asset Location- TGPI is frequently asked to perform asset locations on behalf of its clients, often for very different and wide-ranging legal reasons such as:

Honey Trap - Employing the services of a private investigator to check on your partner is always a difficult decision. Not knowing is more difficult however.You simply need answers.

Case Study #1 - The Girlfriend's Toy Boy

It was a case of misjudgment on the client's part, about ten months ago, Eric and a group of his friends wanted to have some fun outside of Singapore and at the same time, Eric was looking for love so they chose to go to Bangkok, Thailand.

Eric was told by his friends that Thai girls would make great wives as they are polite, gentle and more docile. But Eric had no idea that not all Thai girls would make good wives or girlfriend for that matter.
And he learned that the hard way.
The group of friends was in a bar in the streets of Bangkok, they got to know a few Thai girls from the bar, Eric was smitten by Pooi, one of the girls that approached the group, Eric's friends just wanted to get laid and didn't mind forking out cash for it. Eric wanted something more but he never knew that relationship was never on Pooi's mind.

The first few weeks with Pooi was great for Eric, she was like what Eric's friends told him, gentle, polite and very obedient. Eric liked her so much that he willingly gives her monthly allowances for shopping and pays for her flight to and from Bangkok. As the weeks became months, Pooi's hunger for more money also started to show.

Whenever Pooi called from Bangkok, it would definitely be for Eric to send money to Thailand, and the reasons would always be different, sometimes it will be for her sick mother in Chiang Rai or her brother badly injured needing to see the doctor.
It goes on and on and the amount will escalate gradually. The day Eric finally decide to calculate how much have he spent on his Thai girlfriend was the day he engaged Tanglin Investigations to check up on his girlfriend. Within a few days, the investigating officer came back and had ample evidence from photographs to videos that Pooi had actually took Eric's money and gave it to her gigolo in Bangkok.

Eric blamed himself for this incident, saying that he shouldn't have been too gullible when having a relationship with a Thai girl. Ever since the incident Eric had been careful when knowing girls in Thailand, He has a new girlfriend now and she is also a Thai, but the checks we made on her shows that she is clean and it puts our client at ease.

 

Case Study #2 - The Trusting Wife

This was a case induced with drama; it was a sad case about a loving wife whose husband cheats on her. It was about a few months back when Mrs. Cheng, came to our office needing our service. The officer that handled the case described her as a very secure and attractive woman in her forties. She explained that for weeks her husband had been returning home only in the wee hours of the morning regardless of whether he has to go back to his office the following day.

In the initial stage she assumed that her husband had gone out with his friends drinking through the night based on the fact that he is the CEO of his company.
Mrs. Cheng told her friends about his late nights, and all the responses were negative. But never did she once think that her husband was having an affair.

Then one night, Mr. Cheng got home totally drunk and went directly to bed, the wife was still well awake at this point but was not suspicious of anything until her husband called out a name of a woman in his drunken sleep. It was at this moment that Mrs. Cheng started suspecting that her husband was either keeping a mistress or having an affair.

Mrs. Cheng confronted her husband the following morning about the name he called out in his sleep, and that confrontation ended up being Mrs. Cheng coming to our office. We gathered information of the client's husband's workplace and usual
hangouts and our field officers went out and did their job. Four days of surveillance, the target now has gotten slightly suspicious of his surroundings, but our surveillance team manages to gather enough evidence that the target is in actual fact having an affair.

The target's lover, who was his colleague, was a resident in the Sengkang estate and almost everyday after work, the target will send his lover to her home and he will stay in her residence till late. This information was collected and then shown and explained to our client, evidence includes photographs, videos and even addresses.

When our client knew the truth, she actually broke down in tears in front of the investigating officer in charge of this case but what we found out later was even sadder to even imagine. Mrs. Cheng went to the resident of her husband's lover and knocked onto her door (at this time her husband was in his lover apartment) demanded to see the other woman. When the door really did opened, she saw her husband topless with his lover by the door with a shocked expression on his
face. Mrs. Cheng with tears in her eyes cried out to his lover yelling: "Do not steal my husband from me!"

The drama ended when Mrs. Cheng's husband scolded his wife and yelling at her to go home. What happened after that was unsure, but what we know, is that we delivered what we were hired to do, and that is to uncover the truth. All in all, our client is satisfied that we had shown her proof that suspicions of her husband were true, thus making this case another successful one.

 

Case Study #3 - A Foreign Affair

It is inevitable that men, once powerful or overly successful, tend to spend his wealth on things that are utterly useless. More often than not, older men would like to indulge in the thought of having a mistress for himself and which better place to keep a mistress if not Thailand.

He is a successful man with several F&B chains under his belt, a wife and two young sons. Basically he has got everything a middle class guy could only wish for. But he has a secret that nobody else should especially his wife and sons.

Mrs. Lim was introduced to Tanglin Investigations by one of her close friends. A few months ago, her husband has been traveling back and forth from Bangkok freguently. When asked by Mrs. Lim about his frequent travels, he explained to her
that he decided to expand his F&B outlet to Bangkok, Thailand. At that point of time, Mrs. Lim did not really suspect of anything. But when the trip got as frequent as two times a week, she confided in her friends about her worries. While some of her friends gave good advices other gave nasty comments and that prompted one of Mrs. Lim close friends to hire a Private Investigator to check up on her husband.

From the information that Tanglin Investigations had gathered from the client, the field officer then set out and kept tabs on the target.

The target travels to Bangkok on a weekly basis, and each time before he goes to Thailand he will withdraw a certain amount of cash and put it in an envelope. When he arrives in Bangkok, a woman will then be at the airport to pick him up. As it turns out, the car that the woman drove belongs to the target, and
the woman who drove the car was actually his mistress, and she is Thai. The field officer taking the case took enough evidence to convince the client that her husband was keeping a mistress in Thailand. That was the end of the Private Investigators job, what follows nobody actually knew. But still, it was considered a
successful case.
